For almost 60 years, as a social enterprise we’ve relied on the goodwill and generosity of people just like you, corporate partners, funding bodies as well as trusts and foundations to help us greatly improve the quality of life of people with a disability, and those who care for them.
Many of our major programs receive limited or no government funding. People needing our assistance often encounter major physical, emotional and financial hardship linked to disability, or the need to care for a loved one with an impairment. So your support, no matter how small, will make a real difference in the lives of some of the community’s most disadvantaged individuals.
If you’re thinking about helping people with a disability, then there are several ways you can support the work of Independence Australia. It can be as simple as making a donation, pledging a gift each month via direct debit, joining us at an event, or even setting up your own fundraiser. You might even want to leave us a gift in your Will.
Every donation is cherished, and will be carefully managed to achieve maximum benefit. And remember, all donations over $2 are fully tax deductible, and acknowledged with a receipt.
With your help we remain at the forefront of developing new and innovative ways to ensure people with a disability or physical need can regain and maintain their independence, and to fully participate in every part of life they choose.
