Join us at the Disability Sport & Recreation Festival

Join us at the Disability Sport & Recreation FestivalWednesday 3 December is International Day of People with Disability and taking place at Federation Square on this day is the annual Disability Sport & Recreation Festival.

More than 30 exhibitors from disability, sport, recreation organisations and community groups will come together to showcase a range of inclusive and accessible programs.

From 10am -3pm there will be a whole host of free activities and demonstrations lined up as well as the infamous corporate wheelchair challenge which is always great fun to watch.

Date: Wednesday 3 December
Time: 10am - 3pm
Where: Federation Square, Corner Swanston St & Flinders St, Melbourne

Independence Australia will be hosting a stall at the festival where we will be creating an 'Independence wall'. The general public will be asked the question 'what does independence mean to you?' and their responses will be placed together to form the Independence wall. As you can see a few staff and consumers have already taken part...

We'd love to see you at the festival and of course taking part in the Independence wall. It's a great way to celebrate International Day of People with Disability so make sure you stop by and say hello!
