IPS infoThe Western Australian Incontinence Pad Scheme (IPS) is a product subsidy scheme specifically for children to assist with meeting the costs of continence products. It is administered by Independence Australia and funded by the Disability Services Commission.

You need to be:

  • between 3 and 15 years of age with a disability
  • an Australian citizen and holder of a permanent visa or special category visa subclass 444 (for New Zealand citizens)
  • a permanent resident of Western Australia
  • a member of a family in receipt of a Carer Allowance
  • not be in receipt of a National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) plan for continence products

A product subsidy of up to $490 per year is available to assist families.

Children can access the Incontinence Pad Scheme and the Commonwealth Continence Aids Payment Scheme (CAPS) simultaneously.
