Workplace/Payroll Giving
One of the easiest ways to donate to Independence Australia is through your employer’s Workplace Giving Program.
As an employee, you can nominate a donation amount from your salary each pay period. A few dollars per pay period may seem a small amount, but can be considerably beneficial to our organisation, especially when multiplied by a number of employees.
Workplace Giving means that donations like yours are constant, allowing us to more effectively plan for the use of funding received.
How it works…
If you receive a salary, this is the easiest way to donate by far, as it comes straight from your pay pre-tax, and you don’t have to worry about writing cheques or arranging direct debits. You don’t have to collect receipts, as the donations are regularly recorded on your payslips and annual Group Certificate.
All you need to do is…
- Ask you employer if they offer a Payroll Deduction scheme. If they don’t, please let us know so that we can assist them in starting up a Payroll Deduction Scheme.
- If they do, nominate Independence Australia as your preferred charity, and advise them how much you would like to donate out of your pay each week.
- Your employee will then make these donations to our organisation on your behalf.
And remember, it’s tax deductible!
