Rehabilitation Appliances Program (RAP)

Independence Australia Health Solutions is one of two national preferred suppliers for continence products under the DVA Rehabilitation Appliances Program. We are the only provider offering all 1,714 products approved by DVA.
Once we have received a valid prescription, Independence Australia Health Solutions guarantees delivery of DVA orders to the customers' homes, or their delivery address of choice, within two working days of the order (three working days for remote areas).

Entitled Veterans - How to order

  • Independence Australia Health Solutions require a prescription form to be completed by a health professional, such as your local doctor or continence nurse. Your health professional will complete the form and fax, post or email it through to Independence Australia Health Solutions. Your first order will be dispatched automatically.
  • Re-ordering is easy. You can re-order the products prescribed directly with Independence Australia Health Solutions up to the set DVA limits. Simply contact our customer service team on 1300 788 855 or fax, mail or email through your order. You will need to revisit your health professional for a new prescription every two years
    or if your product needs change.

Prescriber Information

The process for ordering DVA products from Independence Australia Health Solutions remains unchanged:

  1. Complete a Direct Order Form for your client
  2. Send the form through to us by fax on 1300 788 811

Once we have received the prescription, your client, or their representative can contact us directly and re-order the prescribed products up to the DVA's set limits. For your convenience we have provided a downloadable versions of the Direct Order Form and our 2009 DVA Catalogue below; or you can contact our customers service team on 1300 788 855 or customerservice@independenceaustralia.com to request a copy in the mail.

The Department of Veterans' Affairs requires that the Direct Order Form specifies the products to be supplied. We can assist you with selecting the most appropriate products for your clients.
