The Robert Rose Foundation
In 1999, Robert Rose, a brilliant sportsman who became a quadriplegic as a young man, sadly passed away. His family, then led by Collingwood football legend Bob Rose, created the Robert Rose Foundation to assist people with spinal cord injuries who are in necessitous circumstances.
Today, one of the key projects supported by the Foundation is Independence Australia’s Counselling Service which helps clients deal with the social and emotional issues that often affect people with disabilities living in the community.
