  • Chairman of the Board, Member of the Independence Australia Health Solutions Committee and Member of the Planning & Development, Audit & Risk, and People & Services Sub-Committees
  • (appointed 20 November 2000) Director since November 1993.
  • Cliff retired as an Assistant Principal in a State Secondary College, and is now a Practicing Principal in a private accounting firm. He has an interest in disability issues and was formerly the Chair of A.Q.A. Victoria Ltd and is currently a Director of Independence Australia Health Solutions.

Mr. Peter Daddo

  • Chairman of the Planning & Development Sub-Committee
  • Peter had worked with the Nicholas Aspro Group for many years before being appointed President of the Nicholas Group in the USA. Since returning to Australia in 1981, he has worked in the role of joint Managing Director/shareholder of the Launder Group and has been the C.E.O. of Golf Australia. Although now retired, Peter is a Director of Golf Australia Holdings Ltd. He was the previous Chairman of Watson Victor Pty. Ltd. and the Fundraising Committee for the Mt. Eliza George Vowell Centre for the Blind (RVIB).

Mr. John Llewellyn (Lyn) Davies LDA., Dip.CDC, FAICD, FAIM

  • Member of the Audit & Risk Sub-Committee
  • Lyn is a professional director and business consultant. He has highly developed commercial and corporate governance skills, and brings a broad range of experience gained in industry in general. He holds a number of directorships both in public and private companies and on not-for-profit boards. Lyn also operates his own company, specialising in corporate advice particularly to the family business sector.

Mrs. Elizabeth Jones DipEd, GradDip - Literacy Ed.

  • Elizabeth is a primary school teacher at Montrose Primary School, and has been in past years School Council President. She has an interest in disability issues, and was previously involved on other committees, particularly as Chair – Pastoral & Worship at Billanook College’s School Council, and Chair of Elders at the Montrose Uniting Church.

  • Jeremy is a senior Quality Environmental and Safety Auditor and Systems Consultant with DLIQ Certification Services. Prior to an accident which left Jeremy as a paraplegic, Jeremy worked as a Building Project Manager for several large construction organisations, and he currently also lectures to under and post-graduate students at several universities. Jeremy is the Managing Director of Jeremy R. Long Building Consultants Pty. Ltd, and is a Director of Wheelchair Sports Victoria.

  • Brian is a finance executive with the international investment bank Babcock & Brown and is a Director of several private companies; the Australia-Israel Chamber of Commerce; Momentum Ventures Fund (a federal government IIF), and the listed Prana Biotechnology Ltd.

  • Danny is a wheelchair manufacturer with Mobility Plus, importer /exporter of disabled equipments and an active member of Wheelchair Sports Victoria .

Ms. Margot Powell BA, LL.B

  • Director since October 1999.
  • Chairman of the People & Services Sub-Committee
  • Margot was a previous Member of the Board from April 1996 to May 1998.
  • Margot is a solicitor with managerial and operational expertise in the areas of Criminal Law, Administrative Law, compliance and enforcement and until recently was the Senior Lawyer, Advocacy Risk and Compliance in the Department of Transport. Now Margot has a role as a Principal Solicitor in the Court Advocacy Unit at Department of Human Services and practices in the Child Protection jurisdiction.
